Born in Waco, Texas in 1979, Jennifer was given her first name by her older brother Todd, who named his little sister after a girl he then had a crush on. After her parents got divorced she grew up with her mother in Harker Heights, also in Texas.

At an early age, Jennifer displayed a passion for singing and performing. At age five, she took jazz, tap, and ballet lessons which resulted in her joining the Texas Show Team, which toured through Europe and the (former) Soviet Union. Five years later, her family moved to Los Angeles, where Jennifer quickly found commercial work and a role on Disney's Kids Incorporated in 1984. Following this memorable event, she attempted a series of TV roles without much success.

Jennifer then made a leap into acting in movies, making her film debut in Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit co-starring Whoopi Goldberg. After appearing in two short-lived network shows and releasing two music albums, Jennifer finally got her break when she was cast in Party of Five in 1995.

While the FOX family drama launched her career on television, it was the horror flick I Know What You Did Last Summer which finally put her on the Hollywood map. Her popularity rose as she made several more movies, recorded more albums, was featured in men's and women's magazines, and appeared in music videos.

In 2005, she landed the role of Melinda Gordon in the CBS drama Ghost Whisperer. In 2007, Jennifer got engaged to her long-time boyfriend Ross McCall while vacationing in Hawaii. Completely brillant actress! one of the best actresses of all time.... she is not only a good actress but is an awesome and amazing singer too. She is pretty much good at everything. She is beautiful and very talented. An actress to watch out for in the future. Jennifer Love has been in so many movies which have all been very sucessful and is in a very popular TV series, Ghost Whisperer. A brillant show which is doing very well and i personally love it. Jennifer Love in it is very believing. Overall Jennifer is just brillant and everyone should know it!

If you this her show you won't see her leg, they never film under her waist. Why ? she's a producer ! So i guess she choose everything and sure she choose her style, her look, her dresses.
I'm tired of seeing her exactly dress same !!! like my grand ma'.
She's very charming and a good actress but please try to be simple : stop the dresses like "the Ingalls" and be modern. Maybe is not a way to look thin but we don't care if you look fat with way - at least it will be the real you !!

She is the most dramatic actresses I have ever seen act. The way she make every part of the show, Ghost whisperer, come to life, is amazing! I hate it when the show is over, that means one, I have to go to bed, and two, I have to stop watching the most epic show ever! I just can't get enough of it. If I could only afford the seasons on DVD I would be even more happy, if that was even possible?! She should be honored with some kind of big award for her talents. I don't see why she isn't more, out there. Either way, she is amazing.

She is the best of all times, and the show Ghost Whisperer is so damn good just because Jennifer Love Hewitt is in it.

Formerly a child star who has rocked one of Maxim's Hottest Female Television Stars for more than a decade now. Jennifer Love Hewitt is perhaps one of the most known television stars that there is having formerly starred on Party of Five, and now starring in Ghost Whisperer. She is very talented and has an insane ability to cry on demand as you can see in the past episodes of Ghost Whisperer. That takes some enormous talent right there. She also has displayed fear and so many other emotions on the silver screen so well, and is definitley one of the best actresses on T.V.
