  • According to Variety (September 18, 2007), CBS won a bidding war with ABC for the rights to Jerry Bruckheimer's untitled adaptation of the British thriller, Eleventh Hour. The new series will have a tone similar to The X-Files.

    Bruckheimer and Jonathan Littman will executive-produce the project, which will be directed by Danny Cannon and written by Mick Davis. Cannon and Davis are also executive producers.(edit)
  • Stephen Galloway interviewed Jerry in November 2003 for The Hollywood Reporter. When he was asked where does the name 'Bruckheimer' come from, he told Galloway that both his parents were born in Germany. They came to America in the twenties and met each other here. He also said they spoke German when they didn't want him to understand, but otherwise they spoke English in the home. He also revealed he is an only child.(edit)

  • According to Forbes (October 2006), the Los Angeles Times reports Jerry Bruckheimer and wife, Linda, have bought a nearly 400-acre ranch in Ventura County, California. The cost for the property was approximately $20 million.(edit)
