He is also a writer and the mastermind behind the multimedia cult favorites Spin Cycle, and Amputation Nation. Formerly a resident of Los Angeles, John has appeared in film and television and the documentary short John Lumia : Unauthorized, by Ken Winikur.
John was cast in the film "Animal Factory" when Steve Buscemi caught some footage of his performance in another underground favorite "Smoke and Mirrors". If you ever have a chance to watch John perform RUN to your nearest ticket outlet and buckle your seat belt, this is one electric performer.
As of late John has been popping up in more and more film and television. Discovering Lumia has been
like finding a great band before they hit it big. One can only hope Hollywood keeps it's paws off of this veteran.
