I just wanted to say in this forum that most of these episodes from this series are underrrated in my opinion. The very first action-adventure animation series. This show has to be given more credit. Does anyone agree with me?

According to this TV.com site there were 26 episodes all in Season 1.  On Amazon they have the DVD set with all 26 episodes plus a bunch of extra's.  What I can't figure out is why they call it "Season 1" on the DVD when in reality I believe its the "Complete Series".  Minor point I suppose...

Hanna-Barbera Studios also produced (under the show title, The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera in 1986) 13 additional episodes of Jonny Quest to air with the original 26-ep run. These eps were considered a direct continuation of the series. Whether Warner Bros. Video will ever release these as Season 2 remains to be seen.

One of the Greatest Cartoons ever made. I do like Jonny Quest Real Adventures. I didn't like First Season episodes of Real Adventures of Jonny quest, because it was totally different.

But Second Season is faithful to the original. Lance Falk's Episode "Nuclear Netherworld" is dedicated to Jonny Quest Creator Doug Wildey.

Definitely one of the best animated series. It's unbelievable that it only had 1 season. My favorite episodes are those that invoke the 50's and 60's scifi/horror movies, such as "Curse of Anubis," "The Robot Spy," "Turu the Terrible" and "The Invisible Monster."
