David Jude Heyworth Law was born December 29, 1972 in Lewisham, in South London, England. The son of teachers, he first got interested in acting at the age of five. When Jude was twelve, he started acting in the National Youth Music Theatre, and by the time he was 17, he dropped out of school completely and went on to train at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

A two-time Oscar nominee, his start in acting wasn't easy. After minor roles in British television and parts in stage shows, Law had his breakthrough with 1994’s "Shopping," which also featured his future wife

… More Sadie Frost. After that, Jude’s career path changed. With 1997’s movie “Wilde,” Jude, who played Lord Alfred Douglas, the glamorous lover of Stephen Fry’s Oscar Wilde, shot to fame in Britain. After that he moved to Hollywood roles, and gained even more attention.

On October 6, 1996, Jude welcomed his first child, a boy, Rafferty, into the world. About two years later, Jude and girlfriend Sadie Frost married. The two went on to have two more children, daughter Iris, born October 25, 2000, and son Rudy, born September 10, 2002. For a time Jude and Sadie were considered the central to the “Primrose Hill set” of young British actors. But on October 29, 2003, the couple finalized their divorce. Frost said that Law’s “unreasonable behaviour,” was worsening her post-natal depression so much that she needed medical aid. In 2005, the couple’s divorce was finalized. The result was Sadie keeping the pair’s $4 million London house and receiving payments totally to $2 million dollars. But rumors were circulating about allegded “sex-swap” parties and vacations that were happening during their marriage with Supergrass drummer Danny Goffey and girlfriend/wife Pearl Lowe.

He became engaged to Sienna Miller, his co-star in the remake of "Alfie" in late 2004. The two had a highly anticipated marriage. On July 18, 2005 Jude issued a public apology to his then fiancée for having an affair with his children's nanny, Daisy Wright, in New Orleans, while filming “All The King’s Men.” The two reconciled not too long after, but in October 2005, Jude learned Sienna was having an affair with Daniel Craig. He broke off the relationship again. They once again got back together, but continued to break off their relationship. They tried to work things out, but ultimately broke up for good in November 2006.

Due to many of his lead roles being in box office flops, Jude is mostly known as a good character actor. Many feel he is not good enough to be the lead at this point. Jude says that he does choose roles he enjoys, but the rest of the people aren’t as impressed as he is. Law continues to make movies, as well as work with his Music For Tomorrow Foundation.

    No poprostu ciasteczko nad ciasteczkami. Taki słodki ptysiu. Zdecydowanie mój favoryt. Juz daaawno nie mialam fiola na punkcie jakiegos aktora, ale z nim to nie to samo hihihi :) hide show

    Poprostu: AWESOME!!! Nie dość że przystojny, utalentowany, czarujący, dobrze zbudowany, wspaniały głos, powalajacy uśmiech.....no i to spojrzenie tymi zielonymi oczkami. No poprostu MIODZIO hihi. Zakochałam sie po prostu od samego poczatku jak tylko zobaczyłam go w filmie Talented Mr. Ripley. Poprostu az trudno oderwac wzrok od niego. Oczywiscie ma wady jak kazdy....ale ten jego wdziek , urok i czar osobisty jkoas przycmiewa te wszystkie niedoskonalosci. Zreszta ten gatunek tak ma :). Ehh. na szczescie zagral w wielu fajnych filmach, równiez we wczesniej pzreze mnie wspomnianum The Holiday. No chyab nie ma takiej kobitki na swiecie której by on sie nie podobał.

    A good actor if you ask me, he has done some decent and good enough works for me to say that he is a really good actor. I like the way he acts and all the way that he does his acting. I really like him because he knows how to do all of his stuff, I really like him overall.

    I never really knew who Jude Law was until 2004, when he was in those 55 movies. I read the movie reviews, and for like every movie he was listed in it. (I try to name them all to for fun. "Lemony Snickett," the voice, "The Aviator," "I Heart Huckabees," "Alfie," "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow," and "Closer." Got em all!)

    Anyway, after learning about him, I started developing an interest. And when that whole nanny affiar happened, I really took interest. Before he seemed like a nice-guy, but to me, that gave him an edge. I don't believe in cheating, but it made him cool to me. It gave him a scandal, and I heart scandal. Ever since, I've watched stuff he was on and have watched promos for his movies. I haven't seen many of his movies, just "All The King's Men" and "Cold Mountain," (since Nicole Kidman was in that one), but he does seem like a really good actor. I'm actually kinda impressed by him, which is strange because normally I don't care for guys so much older than me, and not in a band. But he is a personal favorite of mine, and a bit of a crush/fantasy, yeah, I admit it. Obviously, he will be around for a while longer.
