  Judge Joe Brown claims to be a defender of women, after watching his show for about 6 months now, I think women would be better served taking their case to a different court show.  Not only is he not a defender of women, he belittles most of them on a regular bases.  If they should have a 'shaky' past then they are fair game for his "moral judgement", berating them and at times even laughing at them.  Ladies stay away from this court show. less «

  Yesterday we heard Judge Brown talk about pit bulls on the show - apparently he is ignorant about them. I have no idea what episode it was - something about a young couple that broke up and custody of a dog and payment of some bills. Judge Brown said that pit bills are dangerous dogs and that as a young single girl she should not endanger herself and others with such a known dangerous animal. Please get your facts straight - there are more dog bites per year from Golden Retrievers than pit bulls. Pit bulls get a bad wrap because of a few people who shouldn't be allowed to have any pets. Pit Bulls are friendly loyal pets and we need to stop the rumors and misinformation. I know some wonderful pit bulls who are companion dogs and some who volunteer by donating blood to a canine blood bank. They are dogs like any other type and we don't need someone like Judge Brown continuing to give out wrong information. Judge Brown - shame on you! less «

  I work at a bank and there are such instances where innocent people are being taken advantage of. In the instance with the two sisters one accusing the other of knowing about the counterfeit check scam I believe the accused sister. Every once in a while we do have customers bring in these checks believing them to be real..I feel Judge Brown was pretty harsh on the accused sister but maybe he just doesn't know about the scams either so may I suggest that he go to his bank and do some research about the counterfeit scams ask his personal banker or any teller at his bank ..... less «

  Judge Joe Brown has some problems, but not as many as people claim. hide « show »

  Judge Joe Brown does have his problems, but they are not as bad as many people claim. Sometimes he does get overemotional about some of the cases that come before him. Sometimes he does treat litigants in bad ways, and does not listen to all the evidence that comes before him. But part of this is that the society in which we live in has declined so much that we need people to try to change it. We can not have men just getting women pregnant, and then leaving the women and the child of fend for themselfs. We can also not have people cheating there friends and family out of money. Both of these problems are getting more prevalent in our society. My belief is that Judge Joe Brown is trying to stop some of these actions, and sometimes that requires harsh words.
  
  Another thing that concerns me is when people get all angry because of one episode or because Judge Joe Brown rants of complains about something. Many of these who complain people who seem to have no legal knowlege about the case at hand, or give the impression that they do not. They just complain about one subject.
  
  Overall I believe that Judge Joe Brown is just trying to do some sort of good in the world by helping settle the cases that come before him. He does have problems, but people treat him much worse then he should be. He really does pay attention to the cases, and uses the the legal system to solve the cases. People should really stop paying attention to JUST the cases, and actually involve the law in their opinions. People should also not judge him based on JUST ONE CASE. This is wrong.
  
  P.S. Pitt Bulls really are dangerous, and after seeing the shows involving Pitt Bulls, he is justified in his comments. They are aggressive by instinct, their behavior many or many not represnt the owner.

  I watched it today and he blasted a couple who were engaged and 8 months pregnant. Who the h e l l is he to give his 2 cents and judge that. It had nothing to do with the case. We don't have to be married anymore!!! hide « show »

  He needs to keep his personal opinions to himself. He's a jerk. He is intentionally rude to the female, especially. He had absolultely NO RIGHT to blast her and tell her that she should do things the "right way" by getting married ASAP. Excusse me, but they are engaged. Even if they didn't want to be engaged, there is no law that says they have to. I'd like to go into that courtroom and smack that stupid right out of him. I actually yelled at my TV at Judge Joe. Personal feelings of his had nothing to do with their defense OR the case at hand. He's just a jerk!!!

  This has got to be one of the worst shows on the air and it needs to be cancelled as soon as possible. hide « show »

  I watch a ton of judge shows, but I have to say that Judge Joe Brown is the absolute worse one of all of them. He doesn't listen to anyone, judges everyone, insults, degrades and humiliates almost everyone who is on his show. If this man was ever a real judge I would be very surprised. This man needs to be off the air..and now. I'm glad to see there are many others who agree how horrible a show this is. I cannot believe that they air a racist judge like Joe Brown. I for one will not watch his show again!

  You know all to well what happens to these dogs and at whose hands it most happens with. Aren't you supposed to be a little more informed than that? I thought a judge educated himself on the case and was there to make judgement based on facts, not prejudices. I guess that's why you are a 'judge' on t.v. instead of a real courtroom setting.
  
  I really think these shows are a joke and feel sorry for you. Next time leave your personal feelings out of it and do the 'job' your supposed to do based on facts and try and remember, that an animal is an animal, it's actions are a reflection of the person behind it. Dogs will be dogs and dogs bite, it happens, but that was an open for you to behave the way you did.

  Lazy Judge makes his own rules hide « show »

  Ok same episode as the pittbull. (Yes the pittbull did it.. and his stats were wrong!)
  
  But the young lady had all the evidence her friend's bank account, the payback, notarized statment, and the text messages and HE ADMITTED IT. He said i got the money but still Judge Brown just ignored the evidence and threw out the case. What a lazy judge. Anytime its a young lady suing a young man he always throws it out and makes the young lady look like a brainless ho. i don't respect this show. He is becoming a lazy judge, who does not listen, talks over people, into pleasing the audience and incredibly chauvinist.
