When Katie appeared on David Letterman in January 2008, she made headlines by saying that her 1-year-old daughter Suri went to bed regularly at 11:00 pm. (edit) Katie is making a a fashion statement with a new Hair style accompanying her husband Tom Cruise at the 59th annual Bambi Awards in Dusseldorf, Germany. She has reinvented herself to a sophisticated hot look. (edit) Katie completed the 2007 New York Marathon which is 26.2 miles. Husband Tom & daughter Suri were at the finishing line as Katie posted the final time of 5:29:58. (edit) Tom and Katie's daughter, Suri, has weekly hair appointments, with her parents having some odd demands when she visits a stylist. (edit) Katie refused to pose for photographs without her husband Tom Cruise at the Vanity Fair post-Oscar party. Tom proudly showed-off his wife on the red carpet urging photographers to "take a shot of her". However, Katie would not leave his side. One onlooker claimed Tom dragged Katie up and down by the hand as he talked with photographs while she remained silent and waited for him to finish his conversations. (edit)

Katie: (On work) I feel the same inspiration that I've always felt to work and do good work and becoming a mom really awakens you to a lot of things. And one of them is, there's that constant -- is this good for everybody, and what is this saying to her (Suri)? And I think that's a normal thing to feel. So it's even more that motivation to do a good job and to keep working. (edit) Katie: When you have a child, it feels like you're reading an encyclopedia every day, and you're always behind, because children grow up so fast. Suri is teaching me a lot. She's so smart and strong--just really magical. (edit) Katie: (in January 2008, about her and Tom) There's obviously a lot that's been said about our relationship. There was stuff in the news about our daughter, and that's just not okay. It's something that I don't stand for. I am a mother. I will stand up for my family. I never thought our relationship was a whirlwind. When I first met Tom, I was just like, "Right on, let's do it!" So I've always felt very comfortable and happy with everything. (edit) Katie: My mother loves to give me pedicures. She pulls out my feet and makes them feel great. (edit) Katie: on her most romantic date One time I got caught in a rainstorm with somebody, and we were dancing in the street. It was pretty romantic. (edit)
