A Sense of Loss

Kavanagh and Julia Piper defend Paul Warwick, a teenager charged with killing a policewoman while robbing a newsagent's store. Paul confessed to the crimes at interview, but he now says that on the night in question he was at home with his single mother and his young disabled brother. Under cross-examination, there proves to be more to the case than first met the eye, and the credibility of the police starts to break down.
