Kelly released her first solo album, "Simply Deep" on Oct 22, 2002. (edit) In July 2007, Kelly collapsed on stage during a performance at the ‘This Day Music Festival’ in Nigeria. After being taken to hospital, a statement was released saying she was in “good condition”. (edit) Kelly no longer lives with former group member Beyonce' Knowles. Kelly: If I think I'm going to get into trouble I always say that I'm sick. Then they feel like they can't really be cross with you. They think you are too feeble for them to be angry with you. (edit) Kelly: You know how the Beatles broke off - they all did their solo projects and they came back together and they were even stronger! (edit) Kelly: I would never become a size zero. I work out because I want to look good naked, simple as that. My least favourite part of my body is my butt, because it has stretch marks. I am not perfect! When I was a little girl I thought I was ugly. My nose was too big for my face. (edit)
