Kerry is the youngest of four children. One of her older brothers is Mike O'Malley of Yes, Dear fame.
Kerry attended Duke University and was member of the ROTC there. However, when she had to choose between acting and ROTC; acting won.
Kerry is an accomplished theatre actor. She has appeared in numerous regional, off-Broadway and on-Broadway shows.
