Birth Name:
Kevin Scott Nash
AKA:
Diesel, Big Daddy Cool, Vinnie Vegas, Oz, Big Sexy, Steele, 'Big Sexy' Kevin Nash, Fake Sting, Silver Fox
Kevin Nash sky-rocketed into a superforce in 1994 when he entered the WWE as the bodyguard of Shawn Michaels. His name was Diesel. Being a feared opponent, Nash was immensly feared in and outside the ring. Don't be fooled by the big man's size, he is very quick and agile. Diesel soon broke away from Shawn Michael's side and adventured on his own very successful solo career, that included winning the Intercontinental and World Wrestling Federation Heayweight Titles. He fought many great wrestlers while in the WWF, including Bret Hart, Owen Hart, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, The BritishMore Bulldog, and many others.
.
When his contract expired in early-1996, Kevin was offered a lucrative contract by the WWF's main competitor, WCW, and signed with them, along with close friend Scott Hall. The two formed "The Outsiders." It did not take too long for Nash to make an impact there, first joining "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan to form the nWo Black & White. A couple of years later, Nash, along with Lex Luger, Sting, and others, split away from Hogan and the nWo Black & White, and formed the nWo "Wolfpack," also referred to as the nWo Red & Black. Nash is often noted as being the first wrestler to ever defeat Bill Goldberg, thereby ending Goldberg's long-running winning streak.
.
Nash returned to WWE television in February of 2002 when Vince McMahon announced he was going to inject a lethal dose of poision into his own federation - the nWo. After a short stint as an nWo member, Nash went solo again and then back to long-time buddy Shawn Michaels.
.
During his last stint with the WWE, he wrestled against real-life friend Triple H in a 'Hell in a Cell' match for the World Heavyweight Championship at the June PPV, Bad Blood 2003. Although he lost, many considered this to be his best match in the WWE.
.
Nash's contract with the WWE expired in January 2004 and he decided not to re-sign with the company.
.
In October 2004, Nash and Scott Hall signed a contract with TNA wrestling. They are currently teamed up with Jeff Jarrett, and they call themselves the 'Kings of Wrestling'.

An all time great hide show

I love watching his old matches, especially with his best friend Shawn HBK Michaels at ring side. In the Mid 90s he was with the WWF, as he held the WWF Championship for almost an entire year. Shortly after that he formed a great faction called the nWo along with Scott and Hulk

    My favorite "Outsider" hide show

I miss seeing the guys on as the Outsiders....Kevin and Scott made quite a team. Not long after he made his way from the WWF to the WCW as the Outsiders, he became known as Big Sexy with good reason, too. Seeing him climb over that top rope to kick some butt just made chills go down your spine, well at least imo. Later, as the demise of WCW came and Kevin switched back to the WWE, they also try to restart the Outsiders but the magic, at least to me, just wasn't there. I see he's back on again with Jarrett's dad's organization so I'm glad to see he's still involved in the world of wrestling. I also caught him in Adam Sandler's remake of The Longest Yard...he was a total riot in that movie. If you are a fan of Kevin you have to see him in that movie. Big Sexy still rules!!

A great man who had important stint in both WWE and WCW and that is trying to grow TNA. hide show

Kevin Nash in his pro-wrestling career has received much more than what in my opinion he deserved, he has never been one of my favourites, but I've a lot of respect for him; when I start watching wrestling in WCW in 1999, the first man I saw on TV was him who was searching for Randy Savage in the backstage.
In my opinion Nash is better as him than the Diesel's character who was without personality and where he had one of the worst WWE Title reigns ever; in WCW debuting as Kevin Nash he was one of the founders of the nWo, the stable who revolutionized the business (Sorry D-X, but that's the truth!) and he helps WCW to compete with WWE in the Monday Night War; he remains with Ted Turner's company until 2001 when he left, than returned to WWE in 2002 with Hogan & Hall, then in 2003 he went against HHH for the former WCW World Heavyweight Title, and then in 2004 the debut with my new favourite federation, Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling...at the end I have only to say: Great career, Big Sexy!!!

    Kevin Nash hide show

I think this guy Kevin Nash is really talented because he works for the best promotion in the world in my opinion Total Nonstop Action. I am glad he left that terrible promotion WWE because he fits in fine in TNA and I really like him because of him afilliated with TNA.
