Aired on the CARTOON network on: Wednesday July 2, 2003 (edit) Kikaider 00's "Blow Up" mode/attack is identical to a mode/attack of the same name by Robot Detective K (Robotto Keiji K), another manga/tokusatsu superhero created in the 70s by Shotaro Ishinomori. Incidentally, K would somewhat resemble Kikaider if his Gemini conscience circuit were complete (completely blue, as opposed to blue & red), only he actually wears human clothing (he has no human form), which he pulls off before battle! (edit) Mitsuko, Masaru, Dr. Komyoji are still in America(I think their in America). (edit) In the manga, Rei (Japanese for "zero")/Kikaider 00 was actually the very first (and failed) Kikaider. Professor Komyoji then created Ichiro ("first son")/01 and Jiro ("second son")/Kikaider himself. (edit) Rei/Kikaider 00 appeared in Shotaro Ishinomori's original manga, but not in the 70s tokusatsu series KIKAIDER 01 (the sequel to the original KIKAIDER). (edit)
