Dr. Gill and his one eyed accomplice release the giant Robot, Armageddon Lord/ God onto Tokyo. Tokyo is blown to pieces. 00, 01, and Bejinder are captured when attacking the Lord. Kikaider enters the Armageddon lord to rescue Akira, along with his friends/ brothers and sisters. However, Gill inserts a device into 00, 01, and Bejinder, making them listen to his every command due to this 'Submission Circuit'. Jiro is attacked and defeated by them, now fighting back. Akira watches from his view in the 'heart' of the Armageddon Lord, confused. Gill reveals that the power of the Armageddon Lord comes from Akira's depression, which causes all the destruction. Gill inserts Kikaider into a tube, which inserts a Submission chip into him. It then begins to activate. Guill leaves Bejinder to watch over Kikaider over the activation, and Gill proceeds to head to the head of the Lord, to begin the destruction of the rest of the Capital. Jiro's submission circuit activates. However, it is struggled against by the Gemini System in Kikaider, which gives Jiro... the ability to truly think, decide. He lies to Bejinder (impossible for Robots), getting her to release him. Jiro continues on, destroying enemies with ease in body but not in soul, the evil and good in him fighting, due to the Submission circuit and the Gemini system. Jiro continues on, destroying anything in front of him. Gill prepares to use Akira's full power to destroy all of Tokyo, however somehow Akira refuses mentally, and the tube which he is held in the heart of the Lord is damaged. Some robots fetch him, and bring the near catonic Akira to Gill. Gill hands him, him in a small tube, to Bejinder. Meanwhile, Kikaider sees the empty heart of the Lord, and presses on. However, as Bejinder receives Akira, something awakes in her. Due to her similarity to her earlier destroyed sister, her sister seems to awaken in her, giving her the strength to defy Gill. She walks away, ignoring Gill's commands, holding Akira and continuing to tell him the story of Pinocchio. Gill's lieutenant aims to shoot her, but Gill yells at him to stop saying "You'll shoot Akira!" Gill/ Hakaider shoot the Cyclops Knight, blowing his arm away and effectively destroying him. Gill furiously looks at the hole in the Robot, Bejinder and Akira seemingly destroyed. Kikaider walks in a door on the other side of the Command center. Gill looks surprised at Kikaider, and commands him. However, coldly Kikaider replies that Gill can't control him. Kikaider walks slowly towards Gill, telling of how he lied to Bejinder. Gill said that was impossible, but Kikaider says that it was only too true. The Submission Circuit had given Kikaider the evil heart Gill had wanted. However, deep down he wanted to fight it, therefore making... truly... Human. 00 and 01 appear to destroy Kikaider. Meanwhile, we see Bejinder severely damaged miles away, crawling on the ground holding Akira, continuing the story of Pinocchio. Kikaider says "If it necessary, I can even kill my own brothers". Kikaider does so, without a second thought, blasting them away with a red bolt of energy from his eyes. Kikaider grabs Gill's brain jar, and begins squeezing. Komiyoji's Teacher finds Bejinder and Akira, and Bejinder dies. Kikaider mentions, somehow in tears, that even though he is human, he is forever cursed, with the good and evil fighting eternally in his heart. Kikaider's robot form and human appearance like form seem to meld for a moment, as he crushes Gill's brain, as Gill still yells "Kikaider! No!" The Armageddon Lord explodes in a mighty explosion. In the aftermath, we see the Detective and his assistant from earlier in the series standing with other survivors. Hakaider's ruined body is seen, as is Kikaider walking away crying. We hear Bejinder's voice, saying "One must wonder.. in becoming human, did Pinocchio truly become happy?"
