The gripping earthquake miniseries 10.5, which aired on NBC in 2004, is getting an aftershock. Filming is under way on 10.5: Apocalypse, and both Beau Bridges and Kim Delaney have signed up to reprise their roles from the original film.

Delaney, recently seen on the CBS series CSI: Miami, played a seismologist in the first film. Her character predicted a series of devastating earthquakes that would create havoc on mankind. Bridges played the president of the United States, who required her assistance. The cast also included Frank Langella (Unscripted) and Dean Cain (The Adventures of Lois and Clark).

10.5: Apocalypse is rumbling to life in Montreal, Canada. Writer-director John Lafia is shooting the entire production digitally.

"We are shooting this sequel on digital," he said. "This allows us to achieve a whole new level of visual effects and style."
