(At Larry's)
Larry: And the rebellion on Barnacles was given such a passing mention in the film, I wrote my own story about the battle. You can imagine the debates that raged when I posted it on the fan site, Kim.
Kim: (bored) Really?
Larry: I'm not boring you, am I?
Ron: No, no, no, go on please, this is fascinating stuff.
Larry: Hay, wanna see outtakes from Moon Beyond Ios?
Ron: The deleted footage of the Shrieker Race?
Larry: Got it at the 99 Tulsa Convention.
Ron: Score!
Kim: Your guys are the greatest. When the chips were down you both came through. I'm really proud.
Ron: So you gonna watch with us?
Kim: Not even a chance. Later, guys.
Ron: What, this is cool stuff, Kim! Kim? (edit) (Ron and Holo-Kim runs through the hallways of Monkey Fist's castle)
Holo-Kim: Ron!
Ron: Kim, tell me you're real?
Holo-Kim: (she flickers) I wish, Wade got carried away with his new gimmick.
Ron: Dead end! Oh man!
Holo-Kim: There's a window!
Ron: Give me a boost!
Holo-Kim: Uh, Ron, I'm not really here, you know.
Ron: Right. (he climbs, only to bend a candle-holder, revealing a secret passage) This will work.
(Back at Larry's)
Kim: I don't know what to do. If I were there, I could help him but.
Larry: Give it to me. I have an idea.
Kim: This isn't one of your stupid science fiction games, Larry! Ron's facing a kung fu mutant with bioengineered hands and mystical monkey powers and... here.
(Larry appears in Monkey Fist's castle as a hologram)
Ron: Who are you?
Larry: Kim's cousin, Larry, but that's not important.
Monkey Fist: I will no longer be distracted by holograms. Prepare for pain!
Larry: Remember level 9 of Fortress? To defeat the Cloud Guardian, you must drink from his enchanted well!
Kim: That's supposed to help?
Larry: It's a geek thing.
Ron: (thinking) I must become that which I fear most. (shouting) Hey monkeys! Hit me! (he gets Mystical Monkey Power) Oh yea! I'm fellin' it!
Monkey Fist: No! Mystical monkey power is reserved for me, and me alone.
(they start a monkey battle)
Bates: Away with you, vile rodent! (Rufus low kicks him to the ground)
Monkey Fist: Mystical power or not, you have no chance against a master of monkey kung fu!
Ron: That's why I'm pullin' the plug. Rufus, search and destroy!
(Rufus starts to kick down the statues)
Monkey Fist: No! You'll ruin everything! That's quite enough. Stop it this very instant! I insist! (after saving them) I saved... I saved them all. Mystical Monkey Power will still be mine!
Ron: Monkey this, you hairy freak! (he sends a flying kick towards Monkey Fist, knocking him unconscious, and breaking the statues) (edit) Kim: Wade, Lord Monty Fiske stole that icon, I think he believes in mystical monkey power.
Wade: It's worse! He has the power, and now he called himself Monkey Fist.
Kim: And you know that how?
Wade: Ron is in his house right now.
Kim: Why did he go there alone?
Wade: He didn't exactly; you're with him... sort of.
Kim: The Holo-Kim? (edit) (In the Mystical Monkey Power room)
Monkey Fist: So monkey hater, we meet again!
(a bell rings)
Monkey Fist: Serenity chime, time to center.
Bates: Monkey kung fu is half mental.
Ron: Completely mental in this case.
(a bell rings)
Monkey Fist: Now then. Where were we?
Bates: He's escaped, my lord.
Monkey Fist: After him! (edit) (Kim is watching the Kimmunicator)
Larry: Is that real time streaming video?
Kim: Yeah, a Knowing Channel documentary. I'm sure you wouldn't be interested.
Larry: Au contraire. Long have I followed the career of Lord Monty Fiske. A little known fact, he is a master of Tai Shing Pek Kwar.
Kim: What?
Larry: Monkey Kung Fu?
Kim: Monkey Kung Fu? He was the ninja.
Larry: (grabs the Kimmunicator) Oh, can you play games with this?
Kim: Ron was right, he is bad road.
Larry: Hello, away team, do you read me?
Kim: Give me that! (edit)

Kim: Give me that! (edit)
When Kim asks Wade what monkey kung fu is, Ron's left sleeve is flesh-coloured.
(edit)
When the hooded ninja and Kim start to fight, the scene focuses on Kim, in which the ninja’s gloveless hand flies by Kim’s face despite the fact that the ninja was wearing gloves. Also, in that scene, the hand was normal, despite the fact that Lord Monty Fiske was supposed to be the ninja, though if that were true, the hands would have been monkey hands. It’s impossible for Lord Monty Fiske to have received his monkey hands overnight so it would have been impossible for the ninja to actually be him, though it was implied that it was in the episode.
(edit)
When "the hooded ninja" is caught stealing the monkey statue, and Kim engages him in battle, the statue disappears and reappears in the ninja's left arm (just before Kim kicks it to Ron).
(edit)
When Ron's mouth hangs open after Fiske's comment of personally directing questions to Kim, his tongue is white.
(edit)
When Ron says "Completely mental in this case!" and rushes past Bates, his entire outline is black, rather than grey on his shirt, pants and gloves.

Scooby Doo: Where are You?:
In that show, everytime the gang encounters something supernatural, Scooby-Doo jumps into Shaggy's arms. In this episode, Ron does the same exact thing when he believes holo-Wade is a ghost. (edit) Kim: Saturday is going to be night of the living Larry!
Tongue-in-cheek reference to George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead. (edit) Tomb Raider:
The monkey temple sequence is a homage to Tomb Raider, which features another heroine who can seemingly "do anything." (edit) Harry Potter:
This might seem like a stretch, but when Kim goes into the temple to get the jade monkey, she has to dodge the trap where fire shoots out of the stone-carved monkeys, which is similar to when Harry has to dodge the fire that shoots out of the stone-carved snakes in the computer game based on the book and movie, 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets'. (edit) Kim: And Larry goes on and on about these creepy conventions he goes to, in costume!
Larry is similar to a dedicated group of Sci-Fi/Fantasy fans, such as Star Trek or Star Wars fans who go to conventions in costumes to discuss the series. (edit)
