Hank: You're smarter than anyone in Arlen.

Allusions

Dairy King is the name of one of Peggy's boggle sponsors. This is similar to the food chains Dairy Queen and Burger King. (edit)
The scene when Bobby slides across the floor in his underwear to the Bob Segar song "Old Time Rock And Roll" is a parody of the scene in Risky Business when a young Tom Cruise dances to the same song in his underwear while his parents are out of town. Just to emphasize the similarity, Luanne is watching a rented video of Risky Business when Bobby slides into the living room. (edit)
