Kirby: Right Back at Ya! is based on the popular Nintendo character's games and adventures. The show is about a hero named Kirby landing on Dreamland which is ruled by King Dedede who only cares about himself and wants the Cappy Town citizens to do the same. In order to achieve this, Dedede comes up with schemes to get rid of Kirby.

Characters:

Kirby: The star of the show! Kirby may look small and pink and pathetic, but he packs quite a punch! He can absorb his enemies shots with his vacuum-like powers and send them "Right Back At Ya!" Kirby lives in a little home beside a tree with Tokkori but will often sleep on a bird's nest.

Tokkori: This grouchy bird lives with Kirby in a little house. Tokkori often plays as a messenger to Tiff about certain troubles. Tokkori swapped beds with Kirby, Tokkori sleeping on a bed and Kirby sleeping in a nest. Kirby would sometimes barge into his sleep and wake him up with a certain trouble at hand.

Tiff: Tiff, the older sister of Tuff, is almost considered a "sidekick." Tiff lives in King Dedede's castle with her parents, Sir Ebrum & Lady Like, and has the ability to call for the warp star from Kabu.

Tuff: Tuff is the younger brother of Tiff and always roots for Kirby in any battle. Tuff usually agrees with his sister but sometimes he would had a differ in mind. Tuff lives with his family in the King's castle.

King Dedede: The monster-loving tyrant, known as King Dedede, neglects all the town's needs and wastes their riches on monsters that causes havoc. Escargoon, Dedede's servant, is Dedede's sidekick. King Dedede lacks reading and writing but loves to eat. Dedede lives in his castle on top of a hill. Escargoon: As a servant of King Dedede, he always follows the king's orders and carries out Dedede's plots. Escargoon would occasionally argue with the King but would often be responded with attacks from the King's hammer. Escargoon lives in the King's castle.

  Since Viva Pinata did pretty good,I don't know about this one.I mean,I pretty much think the video game is better because I don't like those two kids that are a friend to Kirby and that slug dude and one more think to say:Isn't King DeeDeeDee a good guy?I mean,seriously,I think their friends.I don't know about this show because the video games are better than this show and they have stuuf that the video games doesn't have.I can't even decide if htis one is good or bad beacuse it has some stuff that some awesome shows have.Well,it's pretty much very good.

  Everyone's favorite pink puffball, Kirby! I am a huge Kirby fanatic, and you should be too. This show was incredible! At times it seemed a littled kiddy. Which is why I prefer the japanese version of the show. But anywho, this show kept me amused as a young child, and still does. I keep my eyes out for Kirby Right Back at Ya! DVDs which can be bought online. I also watch the show on youtube. And also, I feel that many shows based on video games weren't that great. But this one was a complete success in my book.

  Let me explain. For this version I give it a 1. For Japanese I give it a 10 (even higher) hide « show »

  Don't get me wrong I love Hoshi no Kirby but I hate the dubbed version. Every single character in Hoshi no Kirby sounds 10 times better than Right Back at Ya. Also if you watched this version you pretty much missed half of what was going on in the show. 4kids took away a lot of scenes. My suggestion is to not watch this version and to go on youtube or veoh and search for the Japanese. Trust me it's a lot better and the jokes are really funny. Dee Dee Dee is not a car salesman, Meta Knight is not Zoro, and Blade Knight is not some bumbiling old man who nobody can understand. Watching the original will improve the vision of this show.

  king dedede is the best, plus this show is the best hide « show »

  i remember when kirby first came on tv i always have been thinking that kirby would get his own tv show and to that day kirby is enjoyed by fans everywhere around the world and i think it was a good idea to give kirby his own tv show and every saturday morning at 11 o clock i wake up and watch every single minute of it but one day they stop airing it so i got upset and i wonder if they canceled the show. in june 2008 they brought the show back on tv and i was so happy. if you love kirby you must watch this show

  If you're a fan of kirby or nintendo then you should definetly watch this show! hide « show »

  this show is great especially king Dedede, kirby and metaknight are pretty cool too, Tiff does get kindof annoying sometimes but just try not to let her ruin the show. Some of the episodes are almost laugh out loud hilarious but most are usually just somewhere in between. The show has a general storyline; Dedede orders monsters form a company called N.M.E. which are sent to destroy Dream Land and kirby destroys them and saves the day, but sometimes there are different plots mixed in. Anyway it has it's ups and downs but it is for the most part very enjoyable.
