Elaine "Lainey" Lui began her life as a gossip reporter innocently enough: she was simply interested in the goings-on of Hollywood, and kept herself and her friends up to date on it. This meant e-mailing friends, which eventually lead to a website, which, in turn, lead to her job at e-Talk Daily, doing the celebrity gossip reporting. When not reporting for e-Talk, Lainey works as a Development Officer at Convenant House in Vancouver, and also does gossip reports on radio stations in both Vancouver and Toronto.
