Squint and in one scene you can see a costume in the background that was borrowed from Lost in Space. The costume was originally worn by Don Matheson, in the episode "Revolt of the Androids."
(edit)
The Spindrift exterior and interior sets are not seen in this episode.
(edit)
Mark doesn't seem to be having a good day: Fitzhugh gets away with slapping him (and Betty snickers in the background), while Dan gives him a rather curt answer to a dumb question he asks (see Quotes)
(edit)
Bob Hogan receives a specific opening credit as "Brady".
(edit)
Series regular Stefan Arngrim only appears very briefly in the final moments of this episode, getting a single line of dialogue.
(edit)
Mark: He's caged. How did he get her?
Dan: (sounding rather disgusted) He reached out and grabbed her! (edit) Goalby: This seems to be my day for helping little people. (edit) (to Betty, without any apparent irony)
Fitzhugh: You can help by staying out of trouble. (edit) Fitzhugh: I'm somewhat of an authority on marionettes. Lets see how good he really is.
Valerie: Fitz, is there anything you're not an authority on? (edit) Betty: Where are you going?
Fitzhugh: Back to camp. You heard what Steve said.
Betty: I heard him. That doesn't mean we have to do what he says. (edit)

Supposedly alien planet: human names again
(edit)
Since Brady doesn't seem to do anything about Goalby and Lisa, why can't the Earthlings use Goalby as a continuing ally: he certainly seems helpful enough.
(edit)
Supposedly alien planet: Cole Porter lyrics! The Giants don't seem surprised or puzzled at the existence of this song, so presumably they have Cole Porter, Judy Garland, and the 1948 movie The Pirate on their planet (see Cultural References below).
(edit)
Supposedly alien planet: circus acts and cliches
(edit)
It's not clear why Sandra Giles receives an opening credit, since she only has 2-3 lines of dialogue.
(edit)
Fitzhugh and Betty: Be a clown...
As puppets, Fitzhugh and Betty sing and dance to the Cole Porter number "Be A Clown", as performed by Gene Kelly and Judy Garland in the '48 movie The Pirate. (edit)
