An interesting side story in this episode is Erik romancing Chad's girl Anita. Chad alerts her protective brothers and they surprise Erik in her upstairs room. Reese, Chad and Joe make bets as to which exit Erik will use. He surprises them all by using the roof. Later, Chad goes to visit Anita and Eric turns the tables by sending her brothers over. As the sounds of battle begin Reese and Joe are betting Chad will use the roof escape but Erik says no, he nailed that up before summoning her brothers.

Parmalee to an Army sergeant who has commented that sending four rangers to catch Tohpay are odds of a million to one. "That's the best odds they've had all month. Maybe I should just send three."
