Yet another day in the paradise of Las Vegas hide show

I don't really have a review other than to say that I appear to be a prophet in the realm of "Las Vegas". For the episode "Died in Plain Sight", I wrote the following in my review...

"And what is up with the revolving door of ownership of the Montecito. Is it me or do they seel this place every season? That is getting old too. My guess is Sam is going to end up owning the place before long!"

I should be writing this stuff. I don't know if this means that I've grown accustomed to the writing style of the Las Vegas scritpers, or if they've gotten so ridiculous in their storylines that a simpleton such as myself can see where they're headed months in advance. You make the call.

This episode had laughter, heartache, tears and fears. hide show

We laughed at Mike rallying the troops around to take part in the company picnic games, an annual competition between the ’front of the house’ ( Security, Hostesses, Pit Bosses, Dealers, Casino and Hotel Managers,) team vs. the ’back of the house’ (Maintenance, Cooks, Cleaners, Maids, Janitors and bottle washers ) team, Ed took part in the arm-wrestling comp taking on his counter-part the foreman of the Maintenance crew, Mitch took part in a basketball hoops game, Danny and Delinda in volley ball, Sam in a hotdog eating completion against a 7ft odd guy called the pig, and last but not least Mike in the obstacle course which ended in disaster.

Heartache came when we found that Casey Manning died on a boating trip which came to light that he may have been murdered, however we also found out that he’s left The Montecito to Sam, and finally the tears came when Mary testifies against her father for assaulting her step-sisters, Danny is there for emotional support but problems and fears arise when we find Mary’s father has been acquitted, Las Vegas ends with Mary walking into a pawn shop and asks how much a particular gun is leaving us with fears that she may do harm to her father or worse to herself. An extraordinary episode that brought a full ray of emotions to light.

Denise: Yes Mike you can count on me.
Mike: Knew we could, and maybe when we come home with that title I’ll take you out for a little victory celebration. (winks) You think on that. []
