Trivia

Lauren's first paying job was as "Striker" in the 1994 World Cup Mascot. (edit)
Unlike many of the Gilmore Girls fans who wanted Lorelai with Luke, Lauren while she liked the pairing, really wanted her character to wind up with Christopher. She was instrumental in the characters getting married in the seventh season. In part because of her friendship with David Sutcliffe and the chemistry surrounding it and the rest because she felt that the characters were star-crossed lovers destined to be together. (edit)
Lauren is known for being incredibly high-strung, animated, and talkative on talk shows. (edit)
Actress Melissa McCarthy, who played Sookie on Gilmore Girls, once stated that Lauren had about 700 pages of dialogue per week while filming the show. McCarthy has said in previous interviews that Lauren was as close to having a photographic memory as possible, and the series would have been impossible without her. (edit)
In 2007, after Gilmore Girls ended, Lauren accepted a reported seven-figure deal with NBC to star in a series that was being developed specifically for her. (edit)

Lauren: (on the set of Because I Said So) We're all in our underwear, and it's just not right. (edit)
Lauren: (about actor George Clooney) He is, like, a stone cold fox. Can you argue with me? He's a stone cold fox! I just want to say that I stuck by George in the fat, hairy times, you know what I mean? Because everyone knows that that's how you get an Oscar, by getting fat and hairy. Let's just imagine that he's my Valentine's Day date! Wouldn't that be great? (edit)
Lauren: (about her on-screen daughter Alexis Bledel) I can't imagine a better partner to do this job with. (edit)
Lauren: (About the changes on Gilmore Girls after the departure of executive producer Amy Sherman-Palladino) I feel real ownership in this show. I feel very invested in it. I care very much about it. I don't feel any more like a hired hand, you know? It's a strange feeling—I feel personally responsible for how the story goes. What happens. What the weaknesses are. And so in a way, some of the changes gave me an opportunity to have a voice in a different way. (edit)
Lauren: Texting is not flirting, if you don't care about me enough to say the words than that's not love, I don't like it! (edit)

Lauren Graham is one of the most talented, yet sadly reatively undiscovered actresses acting on Hollywood today. Her unparralled persona makes her an undeniable pleasure to watch.
