Dr. Morton refers to the DSM-IV in his testimony. This is the "Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders" and the "IV" refers to the fourth edition. The DSM-IV is the standard, set by the American Psychiatric Association, for diagnosing mental disorders.
