Lennie Briscoe: Did your favorite uncle die at Pearl Harbor?

He was referring to the December 7, 1941, attack on Pearl Harbor, a Naval base in Hawaii. Pearl Harbor was attacked from the air by the Japanese and suffered heavy casualties. The United States entered the Second World War the next day. Later in the episode, Jack McCoy says that the Defense Attorney 'timed her summation to fall on Pearl Harbor day'. edit »
