Very weird, differnt and funny show. hide show

Lawrence is in pursuit of doing things he never got do when he was younger or really wants to try. Including things like finding his eight year old crush too trying to set a world record by parachuting while doing a Rubik's cube. All the segments with professionals who are related to what he's trying to are really funny - when he's trying to attempt do what they say and so on. But the thing, that I find absolutely hilarious are scenes with his parents. His mum saying he needs a girlfriend, his dad criticising him and numerous other things. Another thing that's really clever is using people all around the ABC, like Margaret Pomeranz and Stratton as the judges when he's parachuting with the Rubik's cube. This show is really funny and hopefully should do very well.

Wonderful little gem hidden in ABC's lineup. hide show

Oh man is this funny. You probably don't know much about this series (i only just found out about it) so i'll give you a quick overview.

Lawrence Leung is a Melbourne comedian who sets out to do stuff he always wanted to as a kid. He's a kind of cool intellectual (mostly for humour) person, like Todd Sampson off the Gruen Transfer, his adventures will have you laughing your head off.

he's obsessed with rubik's cubes, in the episode i saw (bully one)he went into wrestling and made a rubik's cube costume and became the CUBINATOR! and he gets the crowd going by yelling tough-guy style and holds up a rubiks cube and does it in front of the audience in under a minute.
he also tried to learn karate from a master, and taking advice from The Karate Kid, he looked up a Mr Miyagi in the White Pages and sanded his floors, painted his fence, waxed his car, tried to catch flies on his porch by putting a dogs droppings near him so it would attract them (lol) and eviscerating his hedge. You really need to see this stuff for yourself.

watch out for this one!!! hide show

I've previewed this series, and it is fantastic. Each episode Melbourne comedian, Lawrence Leung, goes on a quest to do all the things he wanted to be as a kid, but never got the chance to do, because he grew up. There is guest appearances by people who were legends in their time, like pop-star Tiffany. It's funny to see them 20 years on. Lawrence is a trendy geek, with an obsession with all thiings '80s, and the only person I know who can solve the Rubiks cube in under 45 seconds. Watch out for this series - you'll be kicking yourself if you miss it. Five stars!
