  Another Awsome Video-Game based anime very unapprciated!
  
  I loved the Goemon Games by Konami,but sadly, only a few of the games made it to the states, and the only way to play more goemon games is by Emulation. hide « show »

  Anyway, The Anime version of Ganbare Goemon is very unlike any other video game anime, in this one it's like Captain N the gamemaster, only except human kids going to the gameworld, it's the other way around. Goemon jumps out of the video game world to the human world and befriends two human kids Tsukasa and Asuka, and Goemon is voiced by the same guy who does Edward Elric in Full Metal Alchemist, he's just awsome ^^
  
  also in the Anime, we have the villian named Seppukumaru( a fun retarded villian) and he's acompanied by a bunch of Egg-guys that look like Kirby in samurai Outfits. for those who don't know, Seppukumaru and his egg-guys were also in Ganbare Goemon 4 for the Super Nintendo (in japan only), in the anime, Seppukumaru's role is very different and he serves a Doctor claw-like overlord named Makumuuge and Seppu gets abused alot if he keeps failing (Basically, think Mujo from Bomberman Jetters ^^)
  
  Also in the Anime, they have the usial 4 main characters like Goemon, Ebisumaru,Yae, and Sasuke and they're very much like they're video game counterparts, and goemon also Summons the Goemon Impact Robot like in Mystical Ninja 64: Starring Goemon for the N64. also, Goemon is friends with two Human Kids (can anyone say SOnic X), basically the nerd kid named Tsukasa is a bit more annoying than Chris throndyke ever was, and Asuka(the orange haired pig tail girl is ok in some parts)
  
  as for the animation, it's sub-par on most parts but not too awful,but a fun anime based on an E-rated video game, and it's too bad the games did'nt receive populariety in america. I agree with the last reviewer that this show deserves appriciation, and ADV Films did an outstanding job on this one. Greg Ayers(who did Chrono in Chrono Crusade) did an Awsome job on Sasuke's voice
  
  So come on People, Lets support Goemon!

  Why is the score so low? hide « show »

  I noticed that, judging by the score, this show is very underappreciated! Seriously, what's not to like? It's Goemon! Furthermore, it's very funny and cool! I love how Sebekumaru likes to commit Harekare, and besides, how often do we ever hear proper Japanese terms used in dubbed anime these days anyway? I think the Americans did a beautiful job on this and the people who gave it low scores are plain ignorant. This show is funny, awesome, and once again... it's GOEMON! Finally, I'd like to see summaries up, please. I'm no good with summaries, so I'm not going to be the one to do it.
