Lesli: You don‘t fear for your job on B&B. The people at B&B have been here for 19 years. Everyone feels very secure. I think a lot of shows like to have people in fear for their jobs. At B&B‘s 19-th anniversary party, my husband said to [Executive Producer Head Writer] Brad Bell, ‘Obviously, you do something right. I‘ve never seen such a happy group of people, who have known each other this long‘. They‘ve welcomed me so openly - it‘s really an amazing experience!
- on B&B. (edit)
Lesli: Laugh, laugh, laugh! My husband Keith and I had a really bad year, last year. I was pregnant, written off General Hospital and couldn‘t get a job while I was pregnant. Keith wasn‘t really working and we had nothing to keep us afloat. We were down to our last couple thousand dollars. We moved into this crappy apartment and the air-conditioning wasn’t working - it was 100 degrees! We then moved into a cheap hotel when Alec was a month old. Keith had me hysterical on the floor laughing. If we could get through those moments then we could get through anything.

- on how she personally deals with stress. (edit)
Lesli: Strong-willed, sarcastic, independent. She loves being around her family so I think she‘ll stick around this time for the pure fact that in her time of need, they were there. For the first time, she has a bond with her mother, so I think she‘ll never leave. Don‘t worry though; she won‘t always get along with her mother! I think Felicia is a delicious, yummy character, even if she comes and goes.

- on her B&B character, Felicia. (edit)
Lesli: I lived the research for the part. My dad had colon cancer that metastasised to the liver, but I also met so many people in the hospital who were having transplants when my dad was. That was 11 years ago, so things have come a long way since then. To those who say ‘B&B shouldn‘t be telling the story in a positive way, they‘re making a mockery of this disease‘, I disagree. It‘s not a mythical storyline; people have survived with stage -three liver cancers, so it‘s not crazy

- when asked what research she did to play a role of someone with cancer. (edit)
Lesli: It‘s creepy! With Felicia, there‘s always a bit of laughter within the context of the scenes because she tries to find the humour in the situation. The nearer you get to that point, the more okay with it you are. But when it came time for Felicia to leave her son, she was not ready for it, and that I get..

- on portraying her character on her deathbed. (edit)
Lesli: It’s a very real story. Viewers can understand it because they may have faced it, or their loved ones may have faced it. A friend of mine survived colon cancer.

- on her character’s cancer story. (edit)
