We may not have any new footage of Lost to dissect, but that doesn't mean the good and masochistic people who run the show can't mess with our heads in other ways.
The latest brainteaser to come out of the Lost camp is in the form of a poster that was part of a Lost-themed art gallery exhibition. According to EW.com's Lost guru Doc Jensen, executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse said there are two Season 6 teases in the Lost art poster, which was thrown up on the Web today. At first look, it's just a really cool poster for one of our favorite shows. But can you spot the teases?
There are already a couple theories on the Web. The first one I noticed, which others picked up on too, are the colors. The characters either seem to be all gray or a combination of blue and gray. Ana Lucia, Mr. Eko, Shannon, Boone, and Locke are all gray. What do they have in common? Well, they're dead on the show (in the color world, gray symbolizes death, blue symbolizes life/water). This would also confirm my theory that Jin died after the explosion on the freighter and that he's somehow doing his Casper thing on the island. But this theory hits a snag, as Michael is blue (he has to be dead, right?) and there's some blue in Charlie's hair. Of course, Jack is also gray, but how about a "Jack was always dead" twist? There are too many holes in this one, but it's a fun one to think about. And no one wants to think that Vincent is doing his Forest Whitaker impression as a ghost dog. Of course, you can take it a step further and say that Season 6 will involve two different timelines, with those who don't have blue will always be dead, whereas those with blue and gray will be dead in one timeline and alive in the other. But that's getting ahead of ourselves.
The Dharma badges on the bottom are too small for most human eyes to see, but there are 16 of them, and I certainly can't remember seeing 16 Dharma insignia anywhere.
The clouds in the sky also have some peculiar squigglies, and if you look closely or call Ancient Egypt home, you'll notice there are some hieroglyphs in there, right in the middle. Perhaps we've got a user out there who's getting a PhD in Egyptology and can decipher those?
Speaking of ancient symbols, Hurley's torch shows an ankh, the Egyptian glyph for "eternal life." Is he the torch-bearer for immortals? Is that why he can see "ghosts" and many people consider him crazy?
Other things to consider: Where the heck is Charles Widmore? Or daughter Penny? Or Eloise Hawking?

From what I can tell, there are some of the same hieroglyphics in the clouds as on the timer in the Swan Station when the timer ran down.
Why isn't Lapidus, Miles, or Charlotte in the poster but Faraday is?
i think there is a writing on the clouds. First letter is ''C'' i think . can anyone read it?

I see that everyone keeps saying the guy to the left of the wreackage is a guy in a hazmat suit, to ME it looks more like a diving suit, if u look closely, he has the goggles, oxygen tank, and on his feet are the duck feet looking things that go on ur feet. ALSO, on claires pocket, there looks to be a statue of the virgin mary. I do believe that the aqua color used in the characters actually means, emotional healing and protection, if u look at each character they are going through one of these, the grey can represent ashes, ghosts ..i just examined colors here, and have made some observations..
Up above it says that Ana Lucia, Mr. Eko, Shannon, Boone, and Locke are all gray but thats not true. Eko has a blue axe, Shannon has a blue bra strap and belt, Boone has a blue eye and Locke has two. The only ones who are all gray are Jin, Ana Lucia, and Jack. But I don't really think those colors mean anything at all.
In most of puzzle, you have to look away from where your eyes are attracted.Did you noticed, the tomb at the bottom right over the 3 standing guys?And also you can see masts behind the jungle at the right of the raft. And it make me think that they gave us NO clues about the old sailing boat with the dynamite lost in the middle of the jungle...........

OK so there are 16 symbols along the bottom of the posted, f we count the number of people on the poster who are still alive we get 14, 15 if we include locke. Could mean one of the dead people is still alive...
i think as far as who is dead and who isn't doesn't really matter and hears why... i think the whole series was made up in some autistic or disturbed person's head like st. elsewhere was because nothing has made any sense on this show since episode one... i hope thats not what happens because then i would be mad as hell and i think every lost fan would be as well.
Hmm... Since there is a running theory on the doubling of Sayid, Shannon and possibly Hurley, I'm going to say the guy standing right near the plane wreckage is in fact Jack, considering Jack was wearing a black suit and white shirt - so, second Jack?
Why is Ana Lucia in the middle wearing black and nothing else(she is the only one)? Does it mean something that some people have their back half turned to us (are those the ones who left the island but came back). Does the direction of where they are looking mean something? (it's speculation time all over again untill we start watching)

well im actually Egyptian but i have no idea what the glyphs say! the mythology deals alot with the afterlife and rising from the dead and going to the other side, maybe that's the point?
yeah I liked how the O in Lost almost makes a point to circle Heroin Mary. Maybe they are all in experimental drug rehab lol. One thing people have long forgotton is the two bodies they found in the caves way back in Season 1 or 2 I forget. They had the lgiht and dark stones in their pockets and its long been speculated that there will be alternate timelines in the end and those bodies will be extremely important to that storyline.
I'm not gonna' read any spoilers for season 6. Anyone who reads spoilers, a word of advice: Don't!
The seasons I've watched spoiler-free have been way more enjoyable.

The logos on the bottom go: Normal Dharma, Swan, Hydra, Looking Glass, Flame, *New Logo* (to me looks like a volcano)(could also be School logo), Submarine logo, Security, Motor Pool, Cafeteria, Pearl, Orchid, Lamp Post, Tempest, Staff, and Arrow. That *New Logo* could be new or it could be just the School logo. It is missing the one from the Sri Lanka video. The things that could be new are this logo and the volcano in the background. We seen the logo on Hurley's torch before but it probably is important. The "countdown" hyroglyphics are hidden in the clouds making me being that this season is partly about the far past or the original humans (humanoids) on the island.

The hieroglyphics are the same symbols that flshed up in black and red on the timer in the hatch after they didn't push the button. It has been translated as saying "underworld". This can all be found on the Lostpedia website

Yellow on the leaves may suggest some kind of radiation. The red dot on the plane suggests to form a bullseye.
Rose and Bernard are missing too. The mystery guy is either Alpert or Ethan Rom
Libby, Nikki, and Paulo are all missing from the poster. Libby should be there since Ana Lucia is. Maybe it was just an oversight, maybe not. Hurley's torch is the most obvious one. And the 16 Dharma logos have to be the other. Its odd sseeing Sayid and Shannon twice as well.
I've got this theory that people on the island are responsible for the creation of the Dharma Initiative. Hurley was in charge of the Swan station(he knew the numbers) Charlie did the Looking Glass("a musician" created that station...) And it seems like more and more stations are popping up all over the island(16 on the poster).
The flame, on top right ... would that be ... the volcano erupting ?
I think the 2 clues are: 1-Hurley, the Life symbol and the flame. Is he going to "light" us, as always?2-Sayid (and Shannon) is twice. That has to mean something. I can imagine a plot with Sayid being important but... Shannon? Is the actress going to come back to the series?And Jacob is nowhere, it has to mean something.
None of the freighter crew are in it except Farraday. Plus, no Paulo and Nikki.
The thing in Hurley's torch is the same thing the Egyptian 4 toed statue is holding in the season 5 finale.

Nah, you're overthinking it. It's just a cool poster and the colour stuff is merely for design. But I'm also intrigued about what this last season will be all about.
