Making the most of her cult fandom as Pacific Drive's notorious flip-flopping lesbian, Libby Tanner took the opportunity to release a single (as many Oz soap actors did, and still do) and recorded a club-flavoured cover of Mama Cass' Different - the song best known for its use on the closing credits of another show with a cult fan following H R Pufnstuf. Unlike soap-to-pop efforts by her peers Kylie Minogue and Natalie Imbruglia, Tanner's 'for a laugh' project garnered little attention and was over before it even began. Unlike fellow Oz soap peer Russell Crowe, Tanner knew when to stop the pop.
