    *SPECIAL* hide show

Okay. They are pushing the boundaries of gripping television. The writing was much, much better than most of the episodes and I noticed some incredibly vivid camera work for the very first time in a TV show. All of it was top class TV.

    Earthquake weather - Too true.

The car goes - hopefully for good. Oh YEAH.

The python was the only really weak point (apart from Reese). Both of them together was painful.

Zenless for a while! How awesome was that. I like how the cassette tape ends. Scary Crewes was fantastic. Apologetic Crewes equally so - please let him torment the ex a while longer, please!

Ted is most definitely like a younger Alfred to the Zen-master crime fighter. And all the better for it. More lines for this guy, please.

    Rachael Seybolt. Finally!

Not satisfied about Kyle Mills - my theory still holds that he was not the main man. Else, it is too clear.

Ah. This series has finally well and truly taken off.

A Fantastic Ending to Season 1! hide show

Crews worked really hard to find out who the killer of his friends was and he managed to find him.

I have to say that we see how much things are tangled and how much soeone wanted to blame Crews for that family's death but who is it exactly? Is it John Reese cause that's what things look like.

Jack Reese is behind a lot of things for sure as we can see that in the end he showed that he knew a lot more than he was showing.

We can see that Reese Crews's partner is ready to help Crews out and even cover for him at times.

A very interesting ending to Season 1 and I can't wait for Season 2 to start.

    great finale! hide show

Crews and Dani investigate the death of a man that was shot through a door by a shotgun...well, Dani did most of the investigating while Crews was off settling his issues. Finally, we get some answers and conclusions! Apparently, the man that killed the family kept the daughter and she seemed to love him. That was an interesting turn of events...I loved how Crews had the killer in the back of his car and just drove him around; taht was funny. I thought Reese was done, but he found a way to wiggle out. Overall, this episode had amazing character developments with Crews and I really enjoyed it.

A really good episode that was used as a season finale for season 1. hide show

A really good episode that was used as a season finale for season 1.

In this episode Crews finds out the man who killed his friends, and gets a confession from him. But this man swears that he wasn't the one that framed him.

Meanwhile he also makes the connections to Jack Reese and he tries to get him get arrested. But in a twist of events, Jack Reese tells Crews that he has something he wants. He tells him he has that little girl. That little girl who doesn't even remember him when she was bleeing in his own hands. It leaves a good leadup for season 2.

    Review hide show

The case in this episode was pointless and thats actually what killed the entire episode for me. Reese and Crew's old partner cover for Crews when he goes out in search of the killer of the family, but every scene with the two of them in it took away from the episode. There was a snake in the house that ate the murder weapon? Fantastic, I built no relationship with the person that died or the wife that did the killing. All it was was a placeholder for them to hang around while Charlie did his thing. Also - Charlie was gone for 6-8 hours and all they did was stand around an apartment looking for a snake. Every scene with Charlie was great, but other then that a very dissapointing performance from everyone else involved. I liked the twist at the end that the girl in his arms in the beginning of the epsiode was actually the little girl in the house 12 years ago. Kind of weird that she was living with the man that killed her family, I doubt that she even knows that. Overall - simply average finale from me. A lot of great moments with Charlie but everyone else failed to deliver for me.

  • Crews gives his Buick Regal to a young woman as a present (in case he was followed) after returning from Indio and buys himself an old Cadillac which is later wrecked so at the end of the episode we see him driving along the desert highway in their police issue ford Taurus. []
  • When Charlie throws the tape out of the car, it was somewhere in the middle of the recording. But when we see it on the side of the road, after he had thrown it out of the car, you can see the clear leader tape. Which means it is either at the beginning or the end of the tape. []
  • Charlie Crews used the words "Dig A Hole" (title of the previous episode) and "Fill It Up" (title of this episode) when he finally answers Kyle Hollis on what he was doing. []
