Experiment 276: REMMY
On the anniversary of the day when Lilo's ohana became broken, Lilo desides to take a nap, the day only gets worse when a nightmare causing experiment enters her dreams.
This was the most beautiful episode of Lilo & Stitch: The Series. It made me cry so hard. It's the anniversary of the day Lilo and Nani lost their mom and dad, and now Lilo's very sad. She takes a nap and has a very interesting dream, until experiment 276 intrudes it and ruins it, turning it into a horrible nightmare. If Lilo wakes up to early, the experiment will be stuck in her mind forever and give her nightmares for the rest of her life.
This episode brought tears to my eyes. I just finished watching it, and I'm in tears right now. I love it so much! The sweetest one ever!
Lilo decides to sleep through the anniversary of her parent's death. Trouble is, there's an experiment on the loose which can turn dreams into nightmares! Jumba Pleakley and Stitch need to stop it before it haunts Lilo's dreams forever. hide show
This episode starts off with a sad day for Lilo's ohana, the day they became a broken family(Nani and Lilo's parents died). Nani tries to cheer her up by making her and Stitch something to eat but this doesn't help Lilo's bad mood. She decides to take a nap to help her forget about her sadness. Meanwhile experiment 276 is activated, designed to live in people's minds, turning their dreams into nightmares. It arrives at the Pelekai house, and into Lilo's bedroom. When Jumba realises that a dream intruding experiment is loose he tells Pleakley and Stitch that the only way to save Lilo is to enter her dreams and capture the experiment, using a spatula like device invented by Jumba. Soon after, they find themselves in a bright, colourful and out of the ordinary place - Lilo's dreams where they tell Lilo that 276 is loose in her mind and that they need her help to catch it. Meanwhile Nani, who doesn't know what's going on after getting a helpful tip from Mrs Hasagawa, prepares to wake Lilo. Pleakley briefly escapes from the dream to warn Nani not to wake Lilo yet, and the consequences. They manage to get Lilo back to sleep using a song Lilo and Nani's (and Mrs Hasagawa) mother used to sing. Nani tells Pleakley to give Lilo the picture of her parents, as it's the only way to get rid of the nightmare effect of 276. back in the dream, Jumba Lilo and Stitch are about to be attacked by hula-girl monsters when Pleakley appears and saves the day by giving Lilo the picture. Looking at the picture, Lilo feels happy, turning her nightmare back into a dream. Jumba, Pleakley and Stitch capture the experiment and all returns to normal. 276(or Remmy)'s one true place is at a video games arcade.
This is one great episode! I like how the animators and writers did a good job capturing Lilo's fantasies, for example: her desire to be friends with her hula classmates. I laughed til I cried at dream Pleakley with the conga line of experiments(including ANGEL!), also at flying dream Jumba with the tuxedo and mostly at Gantu dancing with the hula girls - LOL!!!*laughs uncontrollably*
Overall I LOVE this episode :)
Weee, Lilo's dreams makes for an excellent episode hide show
Heh, I knew it. I knew they would do it sooner or later and lo and behold here it is, L&S's dream episode and what a crazy episode it is.
Premise: Lilo brooding on this day as it the day her family became a broken ohana (i.e. the day her parents died though suger coated for the younger audience) and decides to take a nap to deal with it. Unfournately an experimment called 276 (later dubbed Remmy) is unleased and escape into her dreams. Luckily Jumba, Stitch and Pleakly find out about and enter Lilo's dreamworld to fish it out before he turns her dream into nothing but nightmares when she wake up. Of course in the dream world anything can happen especially in the case of Lilo and 276.
Despite the somewhat conveint opening (Remmy just suddenly pops into Pelekai household and Jumba having a device that can trasport people into dreamworld) the rest of the episode is an extremely fun trip through Lilo's mind which I must say, the writers did very well in mish mashing her pet peeves (monsters and sci-fi), desires (to make friends with the hula girls and turn all the experiments good) and of course nightmares (All of the above only more twisted, try not to laugh when you see the hula girls in classic movie monster form XD). Of course there also some very nice sympathy thrown in on the subject of her and Nani's parent's death which utimatlely ends up saving the day in the end and bring everything to a simple but sweet conculsion.
Overall tis a solid L&S episode and one of my favorite episodes. Kudos to the writers, animators and VAs on it. ^_^
This is a very special episode. hide show
This episode goes into the mind of Lilo as she is extremely depressed on account of it being the anniversary of the day that she lost her parents in a tragic automobile accident. One of Jumba's experiments named Remmy takes advantge of this situation by making her dream about it into a nightmare, and Nani tries to keep her asleep until Stitch gets the experiment by singing her a lulubye. You just have to admit that Tia Carrare has a very beautiful singing voice. I just have to admit that this is one of the most unusual episodes of Lilo and Stitch as well as one of the best.
The way I see it, I have seen worse ripoffs of many different elements from outside media. hide show
What I really mean is that there are some ripoffs of some things that I happen to know about. First off, If you played Earthbound (Mother 2) on the SNES, you would realize that they reference the Final Cave where that door was. Second, there are two other evident ripoffs from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (made into a film), given the references to the door and the "caucus race". In my opinion, we are seeing the end of the series.
