    1.2 Abysmal

    it doesnt beat the time the crazy green alien named Zim piloted mars as a spaceship and tried to squish all life out of it.... hide show

    why must all episode's start with comets and blowing them up?....

    i donno what the point of this was green comet and no earth forces do anything....

    anyway stitch and previously repurposed experiments work together to destroy the asteroid but end up saving it because the bitter looking squatter lives on it and stuff

    if the experiments werent using any breathing things why would there be any need fr jumba to use a spacesuit?........

    You call this Armageddon?!!! hide show

    As much as it seems, this episode was not what I
    was craving for. A number of mistakes were revealed in this episode. For example, out of all 625 eperiments on the island only 6 descide to escape. And another thing, why would they want to re-act 'Armageddon' if there's already a movie about it? Don't get me wrong, an asteroid is pretty a pretty cool experience in a movie but in an animated series it's jsut plain mediocre.

    On the upside, this episode did reveal a very good lesson. Teamwork. With the power of teamwork, Lilo and Stitch manage to stop the world from going KABLOOEE! A lesson in an episode makes an episode a whole lot better if the plot is mediocre. And with Lilo and Stitch being accompanied by only 6 of Stitch's cousins, they accomplish a big task while their group was little. I now see that the main moral of this episode is that no matter what size it is, a small group is always a big one. But the plot still stinked though.

    And silly too! hide show

    Stitch overheard Cobra about an asteroid coming and they were planning to destroy it this episode is silly too because there was one human being who came to the ship which is funny and there are very cute experiments here and they were messin' up and naughty! Oh it's just so fun!

    A very sad episode. hide show

    This episode was one of the saddest episodes in the series. The fans saw Lilo's forceful side here and I liked the teamwork by the experiments. I also liked the scenes with them on the plane. Anyway, this episode could have done much better and I think the episode wasn't potrayed very well in my opinion. Read why in the next paragraph.

    I would have liked it if the alien's home was destroyed. He hurt poor cute stitch! I also disliked Lilo's insistence of not letting jumba and Pleakley go back to their home planet. That is very sad. She is treating them like zoo animals!

    No new experiments here... hide show

    This time, there's no new experiment to complain about. It's a simple case of the Earth being in peril and since Jumba has a spacecraft, their family are the only people who can help.

    There aren't any grievous mistakes made concerning the asteroid, which is a plus. And the way the episode is written made it almost tear-jerking when Jumba and Pleakley have to sacrifice the hyperspace engine and perhaps never see their home planets again, but it reinforces their love for their true home, on Earth.

    While nothing of any real consequence happens, it's a character builder and quite a laugh.

  • When Jumba says the asteroid squatter will be in a trance for 20 minutes (hypnotized by Swirly), the computer announces impact in 4 minutes.

    Therefore, the squatter should not have woken up until after the impact. He wakes up before the impact (to yell abuse at Earth). []
  • Jumba refers to Experiment 529 (Digger) as "digging experiment" (no number no name, just function) yet in the next breath, Jumba refers to experiment 513 (Richter) as "experiment 513". Why would he have called digger "digging experiment" instead of his number? []
  • Stitch's plan to destroy the asteroid never would have worked, because Richter never showed up. []

  • B: Miscellaneous Notes

    --> Jumba's species eats by absorbing nutrients through the skin.
    --> Stitch hotwires and joyrides in the moon buggy. (He only stops because he runs into Cobra)

    --> EVACUATION: Lilo is seen telling, the ice-cream guy, a surfer dude, and Mertle & gang. Stitch is seen telling Sparky, Spooky, and Digger.

    --> Jumba places his ships hyperdrive in the Asteriod
    --> The asteroid will cause a LEVEL 12 colission
    --> We learn that Jumba's home planet is KWELTEKWAN
    --> Digger is #529
    --> Lilo rides Stitch across the ceiling
    --> Looks like the ice-cream guy will never get to eat his mint chocolate-chip ice-cream cone. (This rotound nameless, dialogue-less person with a tan and shades, in a singlet and shorts, has appeared in nearly every episode since the motion picure, always pictured with a mint chocolate ship ice-cream cone, and he always has the scoop fall to the ground before he can even get started on it.)

    --> The large colored clown wig that Stitch was wearing is the same one the Jumba was wearing in Clip.

    --> The scenes when the ship takes off and lands are all CG animated, making this the first episode to do so.

    --> First aired in UK: 28th October 2003 []
