Josh: Oh, and Shane was just on the phone.
Wendy: What? Why didn't you interrupt me? You know I've been trying to reach him. He doesn't get a signal up there.
Josh: (blinks dismissively) Anyway, so he says he's going to be an extra day.
Wendy: Wow, you just spread sunshine. (edit) Wendy: "Thanks for everything." (referring to the note from Charles's student) It can mean many different things, ok. Maybe he gave her an extension.
Victory: Ba da bump.
Nico: Funny.
Wendy: That's not what I meant. (edit) Wendy: I hate hospitals.
Victory: Eh, me too. You guys have to promise me that if I'm ever incapacitated, one of you will be my plucker.
Nico: I'm afraid to ask.
Victory: Well, you're in a coma and not a lot of grooming happens.
Wendy: With trying to save your life and all.
Victory: I'm just saying I don't want to wake up looking like Tom Selleck, so I give you both permission to pluck, bleach, wax whatever necessary.
Nico: Is this like a power of attorney?
Victory: Naw, it's power of plucking. (edit) Seldon: So you'll shoot our Oscar winning writer a kick in the butt e-mail, right?
Wendy: E-mail? She's old school. She doesn't have a computer.
Seldon: What?
Wendy: Voice mail. Her agent contacts her through an answering machine or tom toms. (edit)

Goof: Just as Roy shrugs on his coat, the phone rings, heralding the arrival of Joe's car. In the next shot showing Roy on the phone, he does not have his coat on, just his suit jacket. As Victory prepares herself, Roy moves around in the background, and you can see that he once again has his coat on. (edit) We learn in this episode that Nico Reilly does not use her husband's last name. When she rushes into the hospital, she tells the nurse she is looking for her husband - Charles Stern. The nurse verifies that Charles Stanton Stern is a patient. (edit)
