Lisa as Phoebe Buffay is classic and funny everything that comes out of her mouth is hilarious I love all of the songs that she got to sing on FRIENDS and I loved her personality she was a person who went through a lot in her life but her character was always so bubbly and happy never letting anything get her down my favorite moments of Phoebe's was when she had the babies and whens he got married those two episodes really moved and touched me Lisa did such a great job in those episodes shes memorable as Phoebe to.

Although i've only seen her in Friends.
I still know she is an amazing actress!
She was always my personal favourite and brought life to the screen in episodes which otherwise wouldn't have been so great.

Her songs stick in my mind the most such as "Smelly Cat" which became some what of a hit throughout the entire series, alongside the "We were on a break" thing.

Also her on-stage connection with co-stars Jennifer and Courtney were brilliant, she portrayed it as if they were best friends.

Lisa Kudrow is the definition of a brilliant actress and i would recommend anyone of any age group to check her out!

Lisa Kudrow is a Jewish American-Emmy Award winning actress who was born in Encino, California. Her father is Lee Kudrow and her mother is Nedra Kudrow. She has one sister and two brothers. Older sister, Helene Sherman(1960), older brother, David Kudrow(1957) and older brother, Derrick Kudrow(1959). She went to Portola Middle School, in Tarzana, California, and graduated from Vassar College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She is fluent in French. She began her comedic career as a member of The Groundlings. Her first major television role was Ursula Buffay, the eccentrically silly waitress on Mad About You. This led to her starring role on Friends as Ursula's sister, Phoebe Buffay, a role for which she won an Emmy Award in 1998 for Best Actress In A Comedy Series. She is married to French-born Michel Stern and has one son, Julian Murray (born May 7, 1998). Kudrow has spoken publicly about having saved her virginity until marriage. Her mother taught her from an early age that her virginity was a special gift and she wanted to save it for her husband. Her film credits include Romy and Michele's High School Reunion, The Opposite of Sex, Hanging Up, Analyze This and its sequel Analyze That. She has also starred in the biopic Wonderland about the late porn star John Holmes. Kudrow portrayed Valerie Cherish, the main character on the HBO original series, The Comeback. The series premiered on HBO on June 5, 2005. She also served as co-creator, writer and executive producer. The show was cancelled by the network during its first season, only 13 episodes.

Maybe it's the fact that she has a degree in Biology, or that she's fluent in French and then again there is her role as Phoebe on Friends. Of course, she first caught my eye portraying the absolutely HILARIOUS Phoebe on 'Friends.' Ever since whenever I want to laugh, I turn on Friends to get a glimpse a my favourite character, Phoebe, of course. As I continue to watch the seasons of friends I also decided to watch 'Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion', hilarious, of course! How can you not love her? How many actresses have a Biology degree? How many are fluent in French? Or how many have saved their virginity for marriage? I could go on and on about why I love Lisa Kudrow, but I'll just save you the time.
