Born in 1907, Lloyd Gough was an actor who appeared in Broadway and a number of classic movies (including Body and Soul and Sunset Boulevard). He and his wife, actress Karen Morley, were blacklisted in the late 1940s (causing Gough to adopt the last name of "Goff" in some appearances). In one case, his name was removed from the list of credits in a movie (Rancho Notorious) in which he had a substantial role.

Gough found work again on the small screen, playing in numerous programs including The Outer Limits (in an episode with future Star

More Trek star William Shatner). In 1966 he was cast in ABC's The Green Hornet as reporter Mike Axford, bringing him renewed popularity. The success of The Green Hornet allowed Gough to appear in numerous movies (Funny Girl, Earthquake) and television shows in supporting roles he had become acustomed to.

Gough died in 1984; his actress wife died in 1999.
