Episode Summary

When Superman tries to save a man from suicide, lightning strikes both of them. A few minutes later, the man is very strong and can fly...yeah, now he has Superman's powers too. Then he decides to be a superhero, and tries to make money with his "advantages", leaving Superman very mad about this. As soon as Dr. Gretchen Kelly finds out about this, she makes a plan to duplicate the lightning incident and kidnaps Lois to attract Superman.

Bolt from the blue debuts a useless character, Resplendent Man hide show

While Bolt from the blue did have its moments some of the content in this episode was kind of disturbing and ridiculous. I don't know why Resplendent Man was so perverted. It really didn't add to his character of a greedy and selfish old man in my opinion. Also I thought it was stupid that they had him have the opposite clothing of Superman. Since he's been on the bottom of the barrel in life I can only half understand why he charged those who he saved money. I am glad, however, that he did not use his owers for evil. That would be stupid. I also liked that the Lex plot started to build up again. This episode gets my reccomendation for big Lois and Clark fans only.
