Louie Perry Anderson (born March 24, 1953 in Minneapolis, Minnesota) is an American stand-up comedian, who created the cartoon series Life with Louie and hosted the game show Family Feud from 1999-2002.
His obesity is one of his trademarks, although he has slimmed considerably in recent years. He has experienced depression.

After a night of gambling, Louie propositioned hustler Richard Gordon--and was refused. Years later, Gordon surfaced and asked for $100,000 to keep quiet. Anderson paid. When Gordon upped his price to $250,000, the FBI busted him.

On the heels of his successful animated series Life with Louie, stand-up guy Anderson took over a renewed Feud, with a new set and a new look. While popular early on, he still had to work in Dawson's shadow. In an interview with THS, Anderson tells about his drinking and gambling problems, the scandal that nearly ruined his career and his dismissal from the show in 2002.
