Lyndsy Fonseca: Biography

Lyndsy Fonseca joined the cast of The Young and the Restless as Colleen Carlton in June of 2001.

Lyndsy was born in Oakland, California and raised in Alameda, California.

She attended the Barbizon School of Modeling in San Francisco, and went on to star in the community theatre productions of Friends at the Moraga Playhouse and The Wizard of Oz. She also starred in the nationally syndicated commercial for Kinder Milch Minis Chocolate.

In addition, Lyndsy auditioned for the International Modeling & Talent Association where she was recognized as the second runner up at the IMTA's "Young Miss Dancer of the Year," and the "Miss Barbizon Young Miss Talent of the Year." She also received an honorable mention at IMTA's "Young Miss Talent of the Year" and award ribbons for Real TV and Sitcom Competition.

When Lyndsy is not working she enjoys rollerblading, soccer, skiing and dancing.

Lyndsy was nominated in 2008 for a SAG Award along with her Desperate Housewives castmates for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.(edit)
