  • Philo Beddoe, who lives next to his mother and has an orangutan as a pet, also hustles on the side as a bare-knuckle brawler. One day, two members of The Black Widows, a biker gang, insult Philo at a traffic light. He chases them down, takes their bikes, and sells the motorcycles after repainting them. Meanwhile Philo is falling for aspiring country music singer, Lynn Halsey-Taylor. When Lynn mysteriously disappears, Philo decides to head for her home in Colorado with his orangutan, Clyde, and his best friend, Orville. Philo soon discovers that The Black Widows are following him, seeking revenge for stealing their bikes. Short on cash, Philo has to engage in many fights and hustles along the way while outwitting The Black Widows at every turn and uncovering the true intentions of his beloved Lynn.moreless
