  • movie Description
  • Foreplay is a comedy comprised of three separate story lines, each skit showing a humorous take on sexuality. In the first, a man called Norman (Pat Paulsen), unsuccessful with the real women in his life, buys himself an inflatable sex doll. However, this proves not to be as easy a solution as he had hoped. In the second sketch, Jerry Lorsey (Jerry Orbach), a struggling writer, hopes that nude women will inspire him. What he hopes to gain from them, though, is not limited to literary success. The final story centers around a President of the United States (Zero Mostel). His daughter has been kidnapped and will be killed if he fails to comply with a unique ransom demand: to save her, he and his First Lady (Estelle Parsons) must broadcast, on national television, themselves having sex. John G. Avildsen, Bruce Malmuth, and Robert McCarty each direct one of the film's scenes.moreless
