  • Here Come the Girls is a 1953 comedy starring Bob Hope as Stanley Snodgrass, a bumbling chorus boy who finds himself banned from the stage after causing a bit of a ruckus. Stanley (Bob Hope) gets caught up in a murder mystery after starlet Irene (Arlene Dahl), from the Jersey Revue stage play "Here Come the Girls", gets a note in a bouquet of flowers promising the death of her lover and leading man, Allen Trent (Tony Martin). Stanley is unexpectedly invited back into the theater to play the leading man opposite Irene. Little does he know that his new-found stardom comes with a cost -- he is being used as a decoy to lure the serial killer Jack the Slasher (Robert Strauss) out into the open. Filled with comedic twists, confessions of true love and sprinkled with true Bob Hope joviality, Here Comes the Girls is a classic feature promising heart warming giggles.moreless
