  • Home Is Where The Hart Is is a goofy comedy about a nurse that kidnaps a wealthy old invalid in order to fenagle his riches. Slim Hart (Joe Austin) is still hanging on to his wealth and his life, but his greedy, conniving, live in nurse Belle (Valri Bromfield) will stop at nothing to get her hands on it. The sly con artist hatches a plan where, with the help of another local shyster, Carson Boundy (Martin Mull), she divorces her husband, kills Hart's coma-bound wife, and kidnaps the wealthy tycoon in order to marry him and be in line to inherit his wealth. But when they hear of the recent events to befall their dear dad, his elderly sons Art (Ted Stidder) and Martin (Eric Christmas), neither of them spring chickens, set out to recover their pappy and bring justice to the shady Belle. But their journey is anything but smooth sailing, with a theft by a fake nun and an incarceration at the hands of a buffoon sheriff (Leslie Nielsen) meeting them along the way. Rex Bromfield directs this outrageous comedy, full of gut busting moments.moreless
