  • movie Description
  • The film follows a high-powered sports agent for Sports Management International, Jerry Maguire, who re-examines his unethical business practices after an illness. When SMI's bosses order Bob Sugar, Jerry's trainee, to poach his clients, Jerry scrambles to start his own company. He manages to recruit football star Rod Tidwell, promising college player "Cush" Cushman, and assistant Dorothy Boyd. When Jerry loses Cush to SMI and his girlfriend breaks up with him, he becomes closer to Dorothy, who supports him during difficult contract negotiations with Rod. As Jerry spends more and more time working on a deal for Rob, his relationship with Dorothy begins to fall apart. At the same time, SMI threatens to lure Rob away, and Jerry learns that his commitment to integrity is more difficult than anticipated.moreless
