Monkey Business is a 1952 comedy classic with Cary Grant and Marilyn Monroe, directed by the legendary Howard Hawks ("Bringing Up Baby"). Dr. Barnaby Fulton (Cary Grant) has been searching for the secret of eternal youth for years. When his test chimp Esther accidentally puts a concoction in the water cooler, suddenly everyone has a taste of youth. The formerly stiff Barnaby is acting like a teenager. He's zipping around town in a hot rod with the lab's beautiful blond secretary, Miss Laurel (Marilyn Monroe). Meanwhile, his wife, Edwina (Ginger Rogers), gets jealous and reconnects with an old boyfriend, Hank Entwhistle (Hugh Marlowe). With each successive sip of water, the characters regress further and further until they are squabbling children, and Barnaby wants to scalp his rival Hank in a game of Cowboy and Indians. With a fast-paced script and endless screwball energy, this frantic comedy highlights the comic talents of a trio of screen legends.moreless
