  • Bond teams up with Dr. Holly Goodhead to investigate Drax Industries, who have made a shuttle that has been stolen. Bond tracks the shuttle from California to Venice and, finally, to Brazil and the Amazon rainforest. Along the way, he must fend off angry assassins, including the mercenary Jaws, and henchmen working for Drax. Bond discovers biochemists working on a deadly nerve gas manufactured from a rare orchid that grows only in the Amazon jungle. The poison is lethal to people, but animals and plant life are not harmed. When Bond finds Drax's secret base, and the missing shuttle, he learns the objective of the shuttle's heist and must travel into space to save England and the rest of the world from destruction.moreless
