  • Open Range about two free-range cattlemen who must fight for their lives after entering the land of a ruthless owner. Boss Spearman and Charley Waite are old friends who have made a living for many years driving herds of cattle across the country. When they near the town of Harmonville, they send two of their men into town to get supplies. When it is learned that they work for free-rangers, one of the men is severely beaten and jailed. Boss and Charley manage to get their man out of jail, but the message is clear: they are not welcome to graze their herd in the lands near Harmonville. Eventually, the town's corrupt boss, Denton Baxter, makes it clear that he intends to take Boss and Charley's herd from them. As Denton gathers his forces, Boss and Charley must decide whether to flee for their lives or stay and fight.moreless
