  • In the 23rd century, a giant cloud of energy is passing through the universe destroying everything in its way. When it nears Earth, the Starfleet Federation decides to send the Starship Enterprise to investigate the nature of the cloud. Though no longer the commander of the Enterprise, Admiral James T. Kirk, assumes command of his former vessel and departs to meet the cloud with his trusted crew. When the Enterprise reaches the cloud, they learn that there is an alien vessel at its center that calls itself V'ger. With the assistance of Science Officer Spock, the Enterprise learns that V'ger is actually Voyager 6, a spacecraft from the 20th century. During its long journey through space, the ship has achieved consciousness and is now destroying everything in its path.
