  • movie Description
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the live action adaptation of the popular comic book. Set in the stylized world of New York City, the town is in the midst of a record crime wave which seems to be perpetrated by a mysterious gang of ninja thieves who once operated in Japan, known as the Foot Clan. Star reporter April O'Neil, is on the verge of exposing the truth, but is meeting opposition from her superiors, the hapless police force and the foot's shadowy leader The Shredder, a blade garbed masked terror. The only ones who can stop the crime turn out be mutant humanoid turtles with personality named, respectively, Leonardo's katana wielding leader; nunchaku spinning Michelangelo; bo-brandishing Donatello and sai-slashing Raphael, who live in the sewers beneath the city with their rodent mentor Splinter.moreless
