  • In 1943, 2000 British troops are stranded on the island of Kheros in the Aegean Sea. Radar-controlled Nazi guns on the nearby island of Navarone makes rescue impossible by the Royal Navy. Attempts to bomb the guns away from the air have proven fruitless, and the Nazis are expected to invade and slaughter the stranded British force in order to draw neutral Turkey into the war on the Axis side. A last-ditch sabotage mission is assembled to destroy the guns from within the Nazi stronghold. Led by Major Franklin, a team of six Allied and Greek soldiers are put to the test as the last hope for the British and ultimately, the course of the war. However, with tensions between the group and unexpected betrayals, the chances of success grow slim. Can the team pull through and accomplish the mission?moreless
