If you followed our recent advice to start watching Bob's Burgers but haven't yet seen all of Season 1, now's your chance: The show's Season 1 DVD set hits shelves next Tuesday, April 17. To celebrate, the folks at Fox have set us up with an exclusive clip from one of the included special features, which range from audio outtakes and cast commentary to more unique goodies like the show's original studio pitch and a nifty "story extension" you can now take a peek at below.

Titled "Louise and the Burger Menu," the feature offers some new insight into how our favorite bunny-eared tween (voiced by Kristen Schaal) names the "burger of the day"...and as you'll see in the video, it all starts with the chalkboard. Bon appetit!

Anybody wanna meet up later for a Mammogram Burger?

Bob's Burgers airs Sunday nights at 8:30pm on Fox. The show's Season 1 DVD goes on sale next Tuesday, April 17.

EDITOR: Bob's Burgers airs at 8:30 PDT/EDT and 7:30 Mountain and Central, not 9:30. Normally I wouldn't bother correcting an article this old, but it's on the front page right now.

Dear JT, thanks, I fixed the error. Sincerely, JT.

That was cute, but I thought Bob was the one who came up with the punny-if-often-labored burgers of the day. Louise seems a bit too out of control to trust with that sort of thing.

I still can't believe how long the line to get into their Comic-Con panel was last year, I waited an hour and a half only to get skunked (at least I made it into Ugly Americans right after though, that room was FULL).

Short but funny. Bob's Burgers has been on a roll this season. I have yet to see it on FTW vs. WTF again but I'm confident it'll happen eventually.

Seriously, this is what passes for humor these days? What a waste of air time this show must be based on that drivel of a clip.

Well, what is your humor? Family Guy, I presume?

Worth getting the dvd just for that clip :)
